We are looking for a Quality Early Phase to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of Parts Quality.
You will be responsible to coordinate/represent/report the voice of Quality Dept., in term of, attributes, risks and engineering assessments, since the car strategic & preliminary design/concept and development (pre-PEP), up to the launch of the industrialization phase (Milestones BF/LF, Purchasing Release) for internal production (MAKE) or supplier (BUY).
Your main activities will be:
Concept/package/ergonomic and first style evaluation according with customer expectations and quality risks assessment
Virtual car assessment and physical models check - CAS /CAD analysis and alternative scenarios proposals, developing quality technical attributes
Quality lessons learned system management / data base implementation, sharing and tracking
New Materials and technologies performance evaluation
Supporting R&A referent in case of clarification about requirement definition
DMU (Digital Mock Up) process attendance
Advising on material and painting feasibility
Assessment for DDKM (Digital Data Control Model)
Physical models assessment
Strak and technical meeting attendance
Support for evaluation and premises of Concept Fakom (Color Committee)
Tolerance chain analysis evaluation
Early manufacturing issues evaluation and support for tolerance chain analysis, RPS (Reference Point System) and fixing concept definition
Overall project leading of Early Phase vs. internal quality team
Coordinating activities and being the reference point for other for the strategy of the synergy components in your perimeter/projects.
About you
University Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or similar
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the role of cross functional quality project assurance or in technical development areas
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, components and tools
Knowledge of CAD System Catia V5 (basic Knowledge is required)
Know-how in the design tools and development process of car components
Know-how in the industrialization processes
Know-how of all the quality process and customer expectations/claim
Know-how of ergonomics targets and sensitivity for static/dynamic evaluation of the vehicle characteristic
Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus
Strong interfunctional approach, attitude to overall overview and flexibility
Structured knowledge of Project management and quality tools
Strong presentation / visualization skills, able to conduct argumentations and to present quality status and risks to the management team
Strong attitude to work in a cross functional environment and to deal with different department and functions, always pursuing the collaboration way
Creative and open-minded, but in parallel well organized and disciplined in planning
Analytical skills and problem solving attitude
Good target orientation and consequence leadership
