Saipem, thru the Chief Technology Innovation Office (CTIO) corporate function, endeavors to participate in Innovation Projects, which are collaborative initiatives that aim to develop and implement novel technologies, processes and solutions for the energy transition and the circular economy. These projects involve multidisciplinary teams of experts from different fields and backgrounds, working together with external partners such as universities, research centres, start-ups and clients. Saipem also applies for and executes innovative public funded projects which constitute a special category of innovation that result in specific challenges and opportunities that require tailored and supportive practices.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Join CTIO/PPTEC function in Saipem CORPORATE as Chemical Process Innovative Technologies Specialist with an initial assignment to the LOW CARBON FUELS, concerning technology innovation activities related to biofuels, e-fuels, waste-to-fuels, biomass management and all related technology pathways.
ACTIVITIES: A low carbon fuels technology analyst is a professional who supports the innovation and technology manager in identifying, assessing, developing, and implementing new and innovative technologies related to low carbon fuels. The main responsibilities and tasks of a low carbon fuels technology analyst are:
QUALIFICATION: Degree in Chemical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience are required
IT SKILLS: Office tools, Planning tools, Communication tools, Simulation tools
SOFT SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of motivation and determination to achieve the assigned tasks.
NICE TO HAVE: Experience in R&D activities, Development and/or Adoption of technologies in industrial projects, process knowledge of downstream plants.
LOCATION: Italy (Milan / Fano)
