QUALITY CONTROL - COORDINATOR OFFSHORE

Within the ABSER Quality Offshore Fleet department, we are looking for profiles as Quality Control Coordinator to be employed on board construction vessels worldwide.

Activities

  • Support Site Management in front of Client with reference any Quality Related Contractual Matter being tabled, either specific or day by day.
  • To be focal point with reference to QC Inspection being carried out on a specific vessel
  • Coordinating the Vessel inspector team and assigning tasks to them according to the ITP
  • Planning and establishing vessel quality personnel rotations so that the vessel is always cover with the minimum number of personnel required
  • Coordinate with Project Quality Manager, in order to make ensure correct QC inspectors and Pipe tracking system manning level compared with QCP/ITP and QC Procedures Inspection Workload, based on specific vessel features
  • Review Quality Control Plans, verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans and that personnel has access to all required project documentation
  • Check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections and agrees on the applicable operating procedures with the organization in charge of the works
  • Ensure Filing, traceability and preservation of all QC Inspection and NDT Records generated by QC Inspection Activities onboard Vessel
  • Ensure Correct NCR Management System, (Logs and Records), verify correct follow-up implementation
  • Prepare Final QC Dossier; ensure same Dossier completeness in compliance with relevant AS Built Dossier Index.

Skills

  • Knowledge of welding, coating and NDT processes
  • Preferably with Welding International certification such as IWI- S/C or CSWIP 3.1
  • Strong team working attitude
  • Problem solving capabilities and methodical approach to troubleshooting
  • Open minded and willing to work in a flexible and agile manner
  • Communication and relational skills
  • Good knowledge of office suite, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent English
