As Automation & Control System Engineer, you will join our Department of SMAUT, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities:

  • To read, analyze, review and mechanize P&IDs
  • To develop and review Block Diagrams, Control Narratives, Sequence Flow Charts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams
  • To populate and maintain Project Control Systems I/Os Databases.
  • To properly interpret and apply codes & standards and customer design requirements, for the preparation of Control Systems design products.
  • To develop Discipline Specifications and Requisitions
  • To evaluate Specifications and Vendor Quotations
  • To support Packages/Mechanical Systems Department reviewing Packages/Mechanical Systems suppliers data and descriptions to determine control and instrumentation functional requirements.
  • To review Control Systems Vendor Functional Design Specifications/Drawings/Procedures/Manuals to ensure their technical compliance.
  • To attend and perform Control Systems FAT/IFAT and SAT and witnessing the compliance of vendor in meeting the project requirements.
  • To interact with Client representatives, Vendors and Subcontractors for technical topics
  • To support the proposal efforts in projects bids preparing man-hour estimates and planning activities for proposals as required.

QUALIFICATION: Master’s Degree in Automation & Control System Engineer or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: C1/C2

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 6/8 years related experience in LNG/Gas Process/Refinery and Petrochemical industries.

Past experiences as a Senior Control Systems Engineer with Reputed International EPC Contractor on mid to large scale project.

Detailed knowledge, with direct experience with Control and Safety Systems (i.e. DCS, ESD/SIS, F&G, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA) .

Familiar with Control and Safety Systems codes and standards both domestic and international

SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge

SOFT SKILLS: Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and in team.

LOCATION: Milano HO. Availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad
