COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION MANAGER you will join our FLOATERS & OFFSHORE FACILITY COMMISSIONING (COMOFFL), in the business line ENERGY CARRIER (ENCAR), conducting the following activities:

ACTIVITIES:

  • As primary task in the immediate future (from May - June 2024), covers the position of Commissioning Manager in KUTEI NORTHERN HUB PROJECT - FPSO PACKAGE consisting in the conversion of an existing trading tanker (size VLCC) to continuously treat a maximum production plateau of 1,000 MMSCFD plus the maximum associated condensate (75,000 SPBDSBPD normal flow). Treated gas is exported onshore near Santan existing terminal for tie-in on existing pipelines to Bontang LNG Plant. Associated condensate is stabilized, stored on FPSO, and periodically offloaded via shuttle tankers.
  • The Commissioning Manager holds the responsibility to plan, execute and monitor the  head office activities concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run,  and handing over of the plant to the Client according to contractual requirements and project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule.
  • The Commissioning Manager holds the responsibility for a safe and effective site commissioning program for the established systems/subsystems within the Project and handing over of the same to the Client according to contractual requirements, project processes/procedures and HSE requirements,  respecting the relative time and cost targets.
  • The Commissioning Manager shall interface with Company, Sub-contractors, Vendors and other Site Supervision functions throughout the different Project phase to ensure appropriate delivery of Project.

QUALIFICATION: Master Degree in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering (preferable)

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Capability to speak/ write fluently in English (level B2)

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Fixed term during the abroad assignment

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of documented past experiences in the role

IT SKILLS: Microsoft Office package with Teams and in particular with the Excel functions for data management/ rationalization.

SOFT SKILLS:

· Ability to organize own duties independently while respecting deadlines and accuracy in preparing documents;

· Communication and relational skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team and leading properly his assigned Team;

· Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.

NICE TO HAVE:

· Availability for international mobility/assignment even for prolonged periods (1 or 2 years);

· Ability to manage emergencies and define priorities;

· Propensity for learning, in-depth analysis and updating.

LOCATION: Assignment in Milan Office during Engineering Phase and after international assignment for site activities.
