Senior Business Transformation Specialist

Reporting to the Cost Baseline Monitoring and Transformation manager, you will assure the implementation of several Business Transformation projects, as well as the identification of new ones. In doing so you will be liaising with Senior function/business managers identifying initiatives and monitoring the progress of each individual efficiency initiatives identified.

The skills in Data Analysis and in Program Management Organization is the key of success for the requested position, in specific the Candidate will perform analytic analysis, data gathering and interpretation to derive insights that drive strategic decision-making, process optimization, and personalized customer experiences. Responsibilities also include planning, designing, and developing dashboards, as well as ongoing reporting and segmentation strategies.

The Cost Baseline Monitoring and Transformation is a function directly reporting to the Group CFO aiming at managing the change process started by the Saipem Group to reshape its future in line with the Company’s goals. You'll need to understand the current organisational situation, identify future needs, and create solutions to help meet those needs.

You'll need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the way the organisation works and the sector it operates in, as you'll be helping to develop its functions, services, and processes to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a senior business specialist, you'll need to:

On already identified initiatives:

  • Ensure that the timeline agreed for implementation is adhered to by regularly monitoring the progress on multiple projects;
  • Constantly update monitoring tool with initiatives progress and assure timely reporting;
  • Prepare the issue list tracking for daily monitoring to prevent any possible project delays;
  • Prepare recovery plan in case some delay occur.

On new initiatives:

  • Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement;
  • Developing communications tailored to specific audiences while working in an agile, collaborative environment
  • Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes;
  • Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make;
  • Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations;
  • Rethinking working models for the main business functions from organisational and operating angles, with the goal of implementing models to improve company performance in line with business strategies;
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary;
  • Support staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues;
  • Assessing the expected impacts and benefits of the initiatives implemented, monitoring pre- and post-transformation performance and rolling out plans to address the gaps identified;
  • Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years analyst experience preferably in a strategic consultancy firm
  • Strong problem-solving and management skills
  • Ability to apply logic to solve business problems through a detailed analytical approach
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience in project management team
  • An excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
