As Environmental manager, you will join our Department/Function Health, Safety and Environment Management, in the business line ABSER, conducting the following activities:
- Co-ordinate and control the development of Environmental Design activities for a Project, performed inside or outside the Company, in accordance with project/client requirements and Company HSE Management System
- Co-ordinate the implementation of the Environmental Management Plans at site during project realization phases.
- Promote environmental initiatives at company level.
Main tasks will be:
- To acquire and understand the Project goals from Contractual documentation.
- To contribute to define the discipline list of activities, list of deliverables and time schedule in accordance with Contract requirements.
- To identify the environmental requirements and procedures applicable to the Project and assure their implementation into the Project,
- To assure the technical coordination of the environmental discipline.
- To assure the follow-up activities to monitor the resolution of identified environmental issues during the design development.
- To be the technical reference for Specialists and Designers and ensure the participation to the interdisciplinary activities.
- To attend internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings.
- To provide technical support to Project group.
- To ensure the development of environmental management plans (e.g. Environmental Management Plan, Waste /Spill Prevention and Response/ Environmental Monitoring/Chemical/water management plans Plan, and other specific plans when requested.
- Ensure the obtainment of relevant permits from authorities providing support to Permitting/Interface Manager and monitor implementation during Project execution.
- To ensure compliance with legal environmental requirements (e.g. noise limits, etc)
- To ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities.
- To establish an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations. To participate in HSE audits and inspections.
- Find out Archaeological significant areas by conducting surface survey and sampling of visible sites for litchis or ceramic scatters, rock arts or building remains
- Develop Occupational Safety Risk Assessment

To Take part in environmental accident / incident investigation

To ensure the implementation of the Project environmental training program and awareness campaigns.

To ensure the implementation of the environmental emergency exercises/drills program.

To ensure that corrective actions are correctly identified and implemented.

To ensure collection and management of lessons learned and identification of opportunities for improvement.

To manage the selection process and activities performance of specialist environmental consultants.

To ensure records of all environmental concerns and incidents are monitored and resolved.

To ensure that environmental data and KPIs are monitored and reported.

To carry out analysis of the environmental data and KPI’s and make necessary suggestions for improvement.

To provide inputs to management reviews in respect to Project EMS
QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in environmental engineering environmental sciences/Biological sciences
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: C1/C2
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-10
NICE TO HAVE: Previous experience in offshore construction projects, knowledge of marine environment (e.g. marine ecology, marine biodiversity).
LOCATION: Fano (PU).
