As Electrical Engineer , you will join our Department of Electrical Engineering, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities:

  • Perform and review electrical system calculation and studies (e.g. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) with ETAP, DIGSILENT tools;
  • Define functional philosophies and control system architecture SCADA and Power Management system (PMS);
  • Prepare Protection and Metering diagram;
  • Prepare technical documentation (e.g. specifications, data sheets, etc.) for electrical equipment (MV, LV Switchboard/MCC, transformers, distribution boards) and review Vendor deliverables (Vendor follow up);
  • Define and issue market request for quotation (RFQ) and perform Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE);
  • Review client technical documentation and requirements;
  • Directly interface with Client’s representative to review the technical documentation;
  • Take part in electrical system design review;
  • Identify technical queries, deviations and optimization;
  • Take part in definition of electrical engineering requirements;
  • Prepare Project design criteria for electrical system;
  • Define the configuration of the electrical system and the single line diagrams;
  • Manage the electrical load balance of the distribution network
  • QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

    KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B2

    LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience with power network calculation with commercial tools (ETAP, DIGSILENT), with SCADA and Power Management System;
  • Previous experience developing electrical equipment specifications and data sheets and Vendor follow up; Previous experience in the same role in Engineering Companies working for energy or O&G Companies;
  • Knowledge of International Electrical standards;
  • Ability to work within an international team; flexible approach to different audience; tenacity to ensure successful outcomes; curiosity and learning orientation.

    SOFT SKILLS: Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and in team.

    LOCATION: Milano HO. Availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad
