Planning & Logistics Associate

Reporting to the Planning & Logistics Manager and working in collaboration with the Sales Managers of the Maccaferri BUs, the resource will be responsible for Maccaferri products distribution, identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction. The resource will be also involved in supply chain projects to increase efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand forecasting;
  • Sales order management;
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication;
  • Define procurement strategies and manage external workbenches;
  • Supervise logistics operations (Inbound and Outbound), handled by Maccaferri 3PL;
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify solutions to improve Order to Cash and Procure to Pay flows;
  • Identify correct stock models and set up MRP parameters in the ERP system;
  • Manage process mapping and process design analysis, by targeting the SAP standard features and available parametrizations;
  • Operate process analysis within ERP/CRM implementation projects;
  • Data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Technical University degree is preferred (Economy/Management Engineering/Statistics);
  • Ability to act as a team member with excellent communication skills ;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Previous Experience as a customer service representative;
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of SAP (SD/MM/WM modules);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite is required, in particular Excel;
  • Knowledge of stock models;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems will be considered a PLUS;
  • Knowledge of customs procedure (Import/Export) as a PLUS;
  • Good in written and spoken English.
