EPC PROPOSAL MANAGER in ROIS BL - Tendering Department

As Epc Proposal manager Manager, you will join our Department of Tender in the business line ROIS; This mission includes the development of modular, scalable and replicable industrial solutions on EPC basis to sustain the energy transition and circular economy, mainly in the fields of Carbon Capture chain, Plastic recycling, Green Hydrogen and PtX. As Epc Proposal manager, you will coordinate the Bids for the Industrialized Solutions and, thus, to manage the following main tasks:

  • Develop the Proposal Plan based on the Client requirements and on the Proposal Strategy
  • Plan and conduct the proposal kick-off meeting
  • Manage the interfaces with Vendors and Client
  • Coordinate the Proposal Team and ensure definition of the scope of work of each party involved
  • Analyze Contract requirements and conditions
  • Analysis of cost estimates developed by Estimating function
  • Approve the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the Estimating function and based on the evaluations made by the other departments (engineering, procurement, construction, etc)
  • Approve the preliminary project cash flow developed by the Estimating function
  • Ensure the definition of project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, overall resource plan of the solution, in coordination with the Operating function
  • Ensure the integration of proposal packages prepared by the departments and reconcile possible discrepancies
  • Ensure that Risks Analysis is correctly applied, guaranteeing through the Risks and Opportunity Breakdown Structure the definition of the risk register through the Risks and Opportunity methodology application
  • Ensure the preparation of Cost Closure Reports
  • Ensure the submittal of the Proposal to the Client
  • Manage the post-bid clarification phase with the Client
  • Lead, if so delegated, negotiations with clients to reach an agreement on the outstanding pricing, commercial, contractual and technical aspects of the Proposal and in the formalization of contracts
  • Prepare the Proposal Close-out Report
  • Prepare the Project Architecture and handover the awarded Project to the Project Execution team

QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: C1/C2

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years with this role in EPC Contractor Company
  • Familiar with the main technical and execution aspects of industrial plants
  • Willingness to be involved in the new themes and opportunities related to circular economy, energy transition and sustainable business
  • Willingness to get involved in a challenging and new environment
  • Target Oriented and developed Time Management skills

SOFT SKILLS: Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and in team.

LOCATION: Milano HO. Availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad
