Customer Service Manager

For our Customer, multinational Company in the travel industry, Consea is looking for:

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

The figure, which will report directly to the Procurement Director, will be responsible for supervising all purchase orders activities and coordinating the CS team, supporting their daily activities and the Procurement Director in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.

Specifically, in line with the Company procedures and following the Procurement Director guidelines, the CS Manager manages the CS team in order to ensure an efficient supply operation and liases with other areas of the business to align common actions in order to support supply chain initiatives whilst achieving procurement targets.

Core activities:

  • Supervises the CS Operators’ work, organizing their work schedule.
  • Defines KPI’s and departments targets.
  • Develops supply procedures to support organizational strategies and needs.
  • Supervises P.O. management and liases with suppliers when necessary.
  • Supports the team in sourcing F&B products requested, when not available from contracted suppliers.
  • Supervises discrepancy management activities.
  • Provides the Procurement Director with all necessary reports on CS activities and notifies all relevant anomalies.
  • Identifies potential issues before they arise, delivering superior operational efficiency.
  • Proactively works with other Company functional areas to ensure product delivery and the resolution of anomalies in the supply chain.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing, Logistics Planning and Product & Project departments in order to improve order process management and deliver superior operational efficiency.
  • Liases with on-board staff with the intention of efficiently organize the ordering and loading operation process.

Job-Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Engineering and/or Master in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • Relevant working experience.
  • Advanced understanding of supply chain best practices.
  • Experience in managing work teams and ability to communicate clearly with staff.
  • Very good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Target oriented and proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent English. Any additional language is an advantage.
