Key Responsibilities

In line with Company procedures he gives guidelines to the RDA & Forecasting Analyst, they estimates vessels consumption/sales according to passengers forecast, historical data by item, potential product change and items cancellation.

Core activities:

  • Analyses historical data, sales data and passengers forecast per ship.
  • Defines consumption/sales forecasting per item, vessel and area.
  • Uses the RDA Company Tool efficiently, understanding input and output elements along with reasoning rules contained therein.
  • Keeps up to date and generates data in the RGC Retail Global Calendar.
  • Ensures purchase order generations (RDA) following instructions and guidelines provided.
  • Provides the RDA & Forecasting Coordinator with all necessary reports and analysis on RDA & forecasting activities and notifies all relevant anomalies.
  • Follows the entire RDA process generation and proactively works with the departments involved in the RDA proposal validation.
  • Delivers superior operational efficiency

Liases with other areas of the business to align common actions and goals, in order to achieve Company targets.

Core activities:

  • Proactively works with the departments involved in order to identify products changes, items cancellations and any variables that could affect consumption forecasting and purchase orders generation.
  • Collaborates with Procurement Dpt shoreside and Inventory staff onboard in order to improve RDA & forecasting activities and deliver superior operational efficiency.
  • Liases with onboard staff in order to ensure a smooth RDA generation process

Job-Requirements: skills, competencies, experience

  • Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Engineering;
  • Previous working experience in Analyst role, ideally within the cruise sector.
  • Good understanding of supply chain operations.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Target oriented and proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Excel advanced user.
  • Knowledge of BO, QSENSE and POWER BI are an advantage.
  • Fluent English. Any additional language is an advantage
