DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER

For a logistic company, we are looking for a

DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER

This role is to support the digital transformation of the Company focused on Logistics processes. The primary purpose of this position is to execute a strategic capability within the Company by leveraging digital technologies and tools, resulting in a differentiated customer experience and optimizing the efficiency of its global Logistic function.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs and provide expert advice to develop the project seeking successful solutions.
  • Study and analyse workflows to design meaningful, impactful solutions, while mapping business requirements.
  • Ownership of the project's entire development life-cycle: planning project management, including estimating, setting schedule and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
  • Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
  • Work independently under consultative direction in a complex environment to deliver results through their own work and through others.
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships and demonstrating strong influencing skills.
  • Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Ensure that solutions are consistent with organizational strategy and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or Diploma.
  • Experience in leading digital transformations initiatives on supply chain, operations or customer service optimization projects in interaction with IT and the other functions (preferable in transportations and/or logistics sector).
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
  • English good.
