Country Sales Manager DACH

For a multinational Company, leader in the Steel sector, we are looking for a:

COUNTRY SALES MANAGER DACH

This figure will report to the Global Commercial Director and will have to:

  • Develop and maximize the commercial opportunities of the DACH Area Market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), managing, according to Company Policies, Human and Financial resources in order to achieve the results agreed with the HQ
  • Enhance brand awareness among customers by gaining trust and creating a solid customer satisfaction mechanism

 

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Develop strategic Business in the DACH region, focusing on the growth of the turnover of key customers and on the inclusion of new customers
  • Analyze products and markets’ sales trends to define the sales’ strategy objectives, which will be shared with the Sales Department
  • Define the sales forecasts and ensure their adequacy and achievement
  • Build long-term business relationships with new customers
  • Identify new Business opportunities by participating in sector fairs and by interacting with Decision Makers
  • Apply marketing strategies on target markets
  • Manage and motivate the Sales Team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Manage, monitor and analyze the Country's P&L in collaboration with the Sales Division and Management Control Department

 

Main Requirements:

  • Technical Degree or Degree in Economics and Business Science
  • Consolidated experience of at least 5 years in B2B sales in companies producing and processing long products in special steel alloys
  • Coverage of structured commercial management roles for over 5 years in medium / large companies
  • Strong negotiation skills and decision-making skills
  • Commercial insight and solution maker skills
  • Experience in managing resources both at a hierarchical and functional level in the technical commercial field
  • Mother tongue knowledge of the German language, fluency in English. Knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus
