Sales Manager

For an Italian Company, leader in the steel sector, we are looking for a:


The person will ensure the achievement of the sales budget for the assigned customer portfolio and any development objectives.

Main activities:

  • Supervising the commercial activity relating to customers/product/geographical areas of competence, examining requests and formulating sales offers
  • Providing to implement pricing strategies in agreement with the Management
  • Planning and executing sales actions in line with corporate strategy and budget, taking care of the preparation of reports following commercial visits
  • Ensuring the activation of marketing and communication actions to promote the company and its products: visits to potential and loyal customers, participation in seminars and fairs
  • Ensuring the reception of customer needs, supervising the production process in order to meet customer requests
  • Managing geographic development and/or new products commercial development, with the collaboration of the other functions, carring out technical feasibility analyzes, drawing up the project and making subsequent contact with the customer
  • Interpreting customer’s needs and preferences and also assists them from a technical point of view, in order to identify commercial solutions in compliance with customer satisfaction, technical-strategic constraints and pricing
  • Managing disputes, returns and cases of non-payment


Main requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the role of sales account/business developer in a similar sector
  • Strong knowledge about Bright steel bars/Stainless steel /Alloy Steel products
  • Strong knowledge of the reference markets
  • Used to deal with end- user and distribution customers
  • Able to being comfortable in non-standardized contexts/situations
  • Good organization skills
  • English fluent, the knowledge of the Italian language will be a plus
